Final Exam Study Guide
The exam is worth 25% and is made up of short answer questions and an essay. The essay is worth 15%. Aim for up to 2,000 words, although longer papers are acceptable provided the content is substantive.
Topic: In order of importance, select what you consider the five most important mass communication theories and explain why they provide insight into our current mass communication environment and media culture.
The short answers are worth 10%. You will be asked to select two questions from a choice of five. These questions will be taken from material covered in chapters 7-12 of the textbook.
Books and photocopied material aren't permitted, but you may use notes provided they're submitted with your answer booklet.
